Asian Blind Association
Association of blind Asians (ABA) is a registered charity working for the welfare of blind and partially sighted Asian people living in the UK. They produce and distribute information in Asian languages on welfare rights, health etc, through a monthly newsletter on audio tape and provide counselling, advice and information services through a telephone helpline, weekly advice surgery and face to face meetings.

Calthorpe School
Calthorpe was founded in 1896 and continues to serve as an all age (2-19) co-educational Special School located near to the centre of Birmingham. Calthorpe transferres to its present site in 1975 and provides excellent facilities for children with Special Educational Needs.
Community Transport Association
The Community Transport Association represents its Members (which include West Midlands Special Needs Transport) in developing Community (also known as Voluntary) Transport in the UK.
It provides training and advice services to those wanting to start new Community Transport services and also liaises closely with the Department for Transport to try and ensure that legislation and Government policy reflects the vital role which Community Transport plays in providing mobility for groups including disabled people, ethnic minorities etc.

The Stroke Association
The Stroke Association is the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating stroke in people of all ages. It funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and helps stroke patients and their families directly through its Rehabilitation and Support Services. These include Communication Support, Family and Carer Support, information services and welfare grants.
