Driver of the Month - June
Tom Reidy has regularly driven the bus that supports the Stroke Association 'Tuesday Group' meetings. Helen Muguire, the current East Birmingham Communication Support Co-ordinator for the Stroke Association is leaving and the Tuesday group sessions are closing until a replacement is recruited.
Helen wrote a personal card to Tom to say thank you for all that he had done to help towards the smooth running of the Group. She especially wanted to thank him for the occasions when he was prepared to put himself out to help members of the group.
Tom had a previous career as a Passenger Transport Driver for 28 years before joining us in 2006 as a part time driver mainly driving children to and from school.
Tom has been nominated by George Tolley, wmsnt Contracts Manager, for the award of Driver of the Month.
