Quick Thinker Nigel Willetts
During the month of November, after a very long day, Nigel was taking his last passenger home. When he opened the house door to help her in, he went to switch the light on for her but nothing happened. Instead of leaving her to fend for herself Nigel stayed and found out what the problem was and managed to put it right.
Two days later he was taking the same lady home. Nigel unlocked the door to put her shopping in the house and found that there was a powerful smell of gas. Nigel brought the passenger back to the bus to keep her warm and went back into the house to find out what the problem was. Nigel found that she had accidently left the gas taps on. In both cases Nigel went beyond his duties and proved what a good Samaritan he is. Without his swift actions this could have been a very different situation.
Well Done Nigel!
