It has been some years now since South Birmingham Ring and Ride Depot changed its telephone numbers due to moving premises, but we have found that not all Passengers are aware of this.
As the old numbers will cease to exist from 1st June 2011, we would like to take this opportunity of reminding everyone of the new contact details:

Steve Olden, who was recently presented with the Non-Driver of the Year Award at the Ring and Ride 25th Anniversary event in December 2008, has been promoted to be Deputy Manager of the South Birmingham Depot.

Mrs Kate Rafferty has been a member of Ring and Ride since it first started in South Birmingham.
Kate will celebrate her 100th birthday on Sunday 24th May and is looking forward to seeing many friends and family on the day....

Last November saw the 25th Anniversary of Ring and Ride. To mark this occasion, an event was held on the 2nd December at the Clarendon Suites in Birmingham which is located close to Ladywood where the service began 25 years ago.
The Non-Driver of the Year Award has been named after Renee Spector in recognition of the tireless work that Renee has devoted to the Ring and Ride service. Renee, pictured, presenting the award to Steve Olden.

The end of 2008 sees the 25th anniversary of the Ring and Ride service. To mark this historic landmark a series of events in partnership with Centro/PTA are being planned to commemorate the continued success of the service. As part of the celebration, the livery of our latest batch of buses, pictured, has been redesigned to provide a more vibrant and dynamic image.

At the beginning of August 2008 an open day was arranged at the South Birmingham Ring and Ride depot in Frankley to give people the opportunity to have a "sneak preview" of the buses and give us their views on the effectiveness of the design changes.
