Two Replacement Vehicles for Taxibus
The Taxibus service, which provides door-to-door demand responsive transport in the rural area between Solihull and Coventry known as the 'Meriden Gap', recently acquired 2 replacement vehicles.
They were produced here in the Midlands at Washwood Heath in Birmingham by LDV. Whilst LDV do make purpose build minibuses, they are also able to modify them to meet bespoke specifications at their specialist workshops, again based in Birmingham.
The Taxibus service has been operating since 1999 and provides a vital lifeline to people with limited mobility in the Meriden Gap.
