Cancelled Trips can Provide Opportunity for Other Passengers to Travel.
Every month around 5,000 trips are cancelled by passengers. It is recognised that there is generally a good reason why someone has to cancel their journey and that it cannot be avoided.
However, journeys that one person no longer needs can often enable someone else to travel. So providing as much notice as possible when cancelling a trip is a big help. This is particularly an issue when cancelling on the door, as this provides us with no opportunity to fill the space provided, and wastes time and fuel.
