The Charity Awards 2006
wmsnt was shortlisted in the Disability category of the 2006 Charity Awards.
The judges recognised the excellent work the Charity has undertaken in providing extra Ring and Ride journeys by using resources it has generated from diversifying into the co-ordination and operation of transport services for local Councils to and from Special Educational Schools in the area.
Unfortunately the Charity did not win the main prize but its work was recognised with the award of a ’Highly Commended’ mark.
