Ford Transits Prove to be the Most Effective and Reliable Option.
Following intensive trialling at the Wolverhampton depot last year, wmsnt has placed a large order for Ford Transit minibuses for both Ring and Ride and other accessible transport work.
As Paul Elverson, wmsnt’s Fleet Manager commented: “Ford Transits have proved to be cost effective and reliable without compromising service standards that our passengers should expect from us. However, we have not fallen into the trap of putting all our eggs in one basket and we are including vehicles from other manufacturers and suppliers where specific needs have to be met. For example we have recently acquired three larger, low floor minibuses built on Renault Master chassis on which it will be easier to carry passengers travelling in larger powered wheelchairs”.
