Home-to-school drivers (22½-25hrs per week)
You'll provide a vital role to passengers with special needs who depend on our services to get from home to school.
Category D or D1 on your driving licence is essential and we will train you to NVQ Level 2 in Road Passenger Vehicle Driving.
Supervisor - Wednesbury
This role requires the jobholder to work on a shift basis reporting to the Deputy Manager. You will have responsibility for effectively and efficiently supporting and controlling the daily operational systems within the Ring and Ride Service, IGO services and Contract services function within the Depot.
A flexible approach is required to manage the variety of tasks involved in the role including customer enquiries; ensuring trips are completed for the shift, radio contact with drivers, daily driver operational procedures, security procedures for opening and closing the premises and providing cover when necessary.
The successful applicant must demonstrate strong administrative and computer skills, organisational ability with a pro-active approach to problem solving and taking the initiative to resolve work issues with minimum supervision. A clean driving licence with category D1 and an enhanced DBS check is required for the role.
Hours are 38.75 per week on a shift rota basis, working 5 days Monday to Sunday.
