Training services run by West Midlands Special Needs Transport

The Charity has some 700 employees and endeavours to ensure that whatever service they are engaged on - Ring and Ride and School Contract operation etc, they are trained to the highest possible standard.

We therefore have our own dedicated training centre and team of trainers who not only train new staff in Customer Care, Passenger Assistance, First Aid, Disability Awareness, Manual Handling, Emergency Evacuation, Risk Assessment, but also carry out regular refresher training and training in the use of new techniques and systems.

Because of their expertise, many organisations outside the Charity take advantage of the Training Services we offer. These include Birmingham Education Department, Coventry Taxi Licensing Department and several other statutory and voluntary organisations.

Please find courses available for your organisation listed below and you can contact us by e-mailing john.gidlow@wmsnt.org or telephone John Gidlow on 0121 327 8128.
