Changes to the Ring & Ride service
From 23 July 2025, there will be some changes to how you book Ring & Ride and how much it costs.
These changes will help keep the service running reliably for the future.
Changes to fares
We are updating Ring & Ride fares for the first time in several years.
These fares will be implemented from 1 August 2025:

| Companion (16+) | £2 |
| Companion (5-15) | £1 |
| Companion (Under 5) | Free |
| Essential Carer | Free |
Registered users under 16 must travel with an adult as their essential carer.
Booking journeys through a new app
From 23 July 2025, Ring & Ride journeys will need to be booked using the West Midlands On Demand app.
You will no longer be able to book through the Ring & Ride app.
If you do not use a smartphone, you can still book your journeys by phone as usual.
